Citroen H-van – food van signwriting

I drove up to Nottingham, one of my favourite cities, to paint some lettering on this 1970’s Citroen van for Pork Farms Ltd new venture ‘No G’. No G offer gluten free foods, quiche, dessert etc and drive the van to various food festivals and car events over the country. I arrived on Monday midday and measured the van, discussed ideas and got to work creating the layouts and lettering. I spent the next 2 days signwriting, drinking tea and enjoying the work. I like the colours of the vehicle, I think the designs of the logo etc. match the vehicle’s base colour well. I have to thank Sam at No G for the excellent hospitality, tea and sandwiches. It was nice to have a change of scenery (I’d previously spent two weeks working out of the slave/work shop) and paint a vehicle in a city I haven’t visited in a long time. It was also nice to paint some proper food van signwriting instead of the vinyl stuff seen on most food vans today.
