Gold leaf fascia for The Vintage Lounge and Colosseum Cinema in The Arcade, Westbourne

This was a fun gold leaf fascia to do, I was asked to design it myself from scratch and used a Victorian typeface from an old book accompanied by an art deco font and then basic sans serif for the phone number and address. The main lettering is surface gilded gold leaf with a 3 tone shaded 3D effect to the right and a cast shadow to the left. It was nice to have the freedom to use effects and lettering like this, it really suits the business and it always feels good to use traditional styles and it suits the area well. There are a lot of expensive shops around so a gold leaf fascia was perfect for the surroundings.
