Wall painting – Cafe Yolk and Finn’s Traditional Fish and Chips Reading

I first visited Alexandra at Cafe Yolk and Finns in Reading to paint a mural on the Cafe Yolk cafe building. With scaffolding up for 2 days there were some of the usual dramas with the weather and was finished on an extremely windy Tuesday afternoon just in time. I visited again a few months later to paint two Cafe Yolk logos, and to start the signwriting on Finn’s, which would start trading the following week. The work consisted of the Finn’s logo and text onto masonry and a number of Finn’s logos covering the outside of the building. The design work for Finn’s and Cafe Yolk was by Natalie Evans at Musecology, and the food served at Cafe Yolk and Finn’s is nothing short of amazing, I thoroughly recommend it.
